About Chef & Baker 

   Chef Manny and Cyndi the Baker met in 2010 in the kitchen at The Peacock Inn in Princeton NJ and have been cooking together ever since. Manny began his 25-year culinary career in New York City, where he honed his skills in some of New York’s best kitchens, including the 3-star Michelin awarded Le Bernardin. 

 

Cyndi holds a bachelor’s degree from Johnson & Whales University and has cooked or baked in various restaurants from New York City to Rhode Island, including a stint as the private chef on a yacht.

 

   While working at The Peacock Inn, the couple fell in love and through lots of cooking, baking and travel to rich culinary destinations in the US and abroad, Manny and Cyndi where inspired to create Chef & Baker.

 

Although cooking in restaurant kitchens has provided them both with serious professional experience and industry standards, the couple most enjoys cooking on a more personal level.  During the pandemic, calls and emails poured in asking for private meal delivery. And so an idea was born to make their brand of delicious food readily available within the community.

 

Now offering prepared meals for delivery, using local ingredients made with care and love, Chef & Baker aims to provide a convenient way to put restaurant quality, chef-driven food on your table. And let’s not forget dessert!
